Educational Philosophy
I believe that it is my responsibility as an educational leader to provide support for teachers and students in the development of a positive learning environment, which reflects both academic development and personal-social skill development. I believe that this support should be provided through a warm, empathic and non-judgemental relationship which encourages collaboration and commitment from all stakeholders.
Educational Goals
1. To meet the unique needs of each stakeholder.
2. To provide support for a variety of personal, social and emotional issues and situations which may interfere with learning.
3. To assist in the ongoing education of all students to be academically successful and become lifelong learners.
4. To facilitate the development of the whole child through developmentally appropriate activities.
5. To encourage collaborative relationships among stakeholders.
6. To support faculty and staff in the implementation of standards based instruction and assessment.
7. To assist in creating an atmosphere of learning which encourages all stakeholders to meet their maximum potential.

This website was completed in order to fulfill partial requirements for the University of Georgia Online L5 Add-On Certification Program. Upon completion of the program, I was able to add an administrative endorsement to my certificate. The program was composed of 18 one-semester hour courses, which were completed over a three semester period, plus 3 hours of practicum. For more information about the University of Georgia Online L5 program click here.
The course requirements offered opportunities in educational policy analysis, administrative studies, social and behavioral sciences, educational foundations, and a variety of research methods. The postings on this page link to specific activities and projects related to course requirements.
