My name is Don and I am a retired 63 year young male, currently residing in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, U.S.A. Yes, it is French but no one around here that I know speaks French. This is not my original home, however, and my life's journey just had me stop here for a short time until the Dream comes alive. I have had many stops along the way and have, hopefully, learned from each of the stops. Some of the lessons were learned as result of a 20 year plus career in the United States Air Force. Even more lessons came after my military service while working in the nuclear power industry for over 20 years.
I have been married to the same woman, Dorothy, for the past 42 years as of December 2, 2000.
We have three children, Donald, Lawrence, and Jewel, and on their own hopefully following their own dreams. They have made sure we keep busy with seven grandchildren. And don't tell anyone but there is a greatgrandchild on the way in March 2001.
I hope that in these "personal" pages you might find that some of my favorite things may amuse you and perhaps bring a smile to your face. The 'next' below will take you through various pages describing my jouney to the dream. It includes separate pages telling you a bit about my youth and school days, 20 plus years in the military, and 20 plus years working in the nuclear power industry.
