Cat Hairs
I breathe out
And cat hairs float
Through the air, to my computer
Falling
To the keys
Sacrificing their lives to them

In return, I want a poem
A poem about cat hairs
How they tickle your nose
Your chin
And never go
Away

Like the laundry
Lying there like some kind
Of pointing finger,
Dirty, dingy,
Judging you
Reminding you of things
You wish to forget

Like a fight
A one-sided argument
Regarding physical love
And your desire
For it
And your lack
Of it

And upon that thought,
The heels
Of it, comes the
Toes of another

The pained thought of
Why the fight
Began
And ended
And how it felt
And why you started it
Selfish
Wanting more than
What was given
Hunger's precedence over
Desire

Selfish like the
Cat, who tramples your
Work and computer
He tramples you
And leaves those
Maddening
Cat hairs
Everywhere

They float
Away when
I breathe out
stunning!  show me more!
dreadful!  let me go!
