Since there aren't any instructions, this is what I've figured out.
This is a games picking up from the end of the S season so it could be alittle strange if you haven't seen the end of the season. 
To get the game to fit the whole screen, you go to the menu bar, click options, "Display Configuration", and then click "stretch image".
On the snes controller, the A button is the "action" button, the B button is used to get out of things or undo an action, the X button pulls up the game menu.  You can change the keys used to control these buttons by going to options, "Joypad Configuration."
The picture below show you what the buttons mean when are fighting in a battle.
