About the artist:
"I have been creating since 1969. I write poetry, I paint and sculpt, I work with wood, both carving and cabinet making.
I attended a university only until the national guard came in and shot some fellow students; at that time I decided my education could be better acquired on my own .
I traveled throughout the United States and Canada for several summers. The winters, I painted and sold works in Columbus, Ohio. During this time, I read avidly of  Native American cultures and world religions. I worked many different jobs to pay the bills and in turn learned about people.
I have experienced many different aspects of life, but basically remain the same person I was when I left school in 1970. I feel the effects of time on my body in the form of minor aches and pains; I see my face develop texture and lines; I suffer the pangs of regret for opportunities missed and the immense joys of living a life full of goodness and happiness. God graces us each with what we seek. I have always sought only those things which are peace, contentment, and beauty."
