I am an Army Junior ROTC cadet.  I will always conduct myself to bring credit to my family,                                             
                                                             country,  school,  and Corps of Cadets.
             
                                    I am loyal and patriotic.  I am the future of the United States of America.
              
                                I do not lie, cheat, or steal and will always be accountable for my action and deeds.
                                 
                                                       I will always practice good citizenship and patriotism.  

                                                  I will work hard to improve my mind and strengthen my body.
                 
                   I will seek the mantle of leadership and stand prepared tp uphold the Constitution and teach the

                                         ARMY KNOWLEDGE


1. the JROTC was formed as part of the National Defense Act of 1916
2. The three divisions of the ROTC program are:
                              1. Senior Divisions (colleges)
                              2. Military Schools (Junior colleges)

3. Two categories of the JROTC program are:
                              1. Military Institution
                              2. Military High Schools
4. The three componets of the U.S. Army are:
                              1. Active Army
                              2. Active Reserve
                              3. Army National Guard
5. Congress developed the JROTC program to develope young leaders at an early
          age who will be able to understand the requirments of good citizenship.
6. The main objective in JROTC are: knowledge of basic skills, good citizenship,
          patriotism, leadership, and reliance.
7. The Army JROTC motto is, "To motivate young people to be better Americans."
8. Armed Forces Day honors all branches of the armed services of the United
           States and its celebrated on the third saturday in May.
9. The Birthday of the Army is June 14, 1775.
10. Memorial Day is celebrated to remember all those who have fought and died in
           a war, its celebrated on May 29.
11. Independence Day is the day we celebrate the United States' independence from
          Great Britain.
12. The headquarters for all United States Armed Forces is Washington, D.C.
13. The Army is the branch of service that fights on land, the Navy and Marine corps
           fight on the sea and the Air Force fights in the air.
