Okay here's what happened...( I love telling stories :) My mom recently got a new dining room set for our kitchen, and she needed to return a few chairs because of defects. Well, we borrowed a friend's truck (thanks Mr. and Mrs. M!) but there was one chair left over that didn't fit. So I elected to wedge it into my car and to take it back to the store. The store is located on the east side of Evansville, a very congested area of town. Any way, we got there and we all parked our vehicles, and I proceeded to get the chair out of the back and take it into the store. When I was finished with that, my brother and I were going to get our eyes examined just down the road. Well as I exited the building, walking towards my car which was directly out in front, I noticed that a Ford Festiva pulled up rather rapidly and parked right next to my car. I'm roughly 30-40 feet from my car, still walking towards it, when the lady in the passenger side, opens her door uncontrollably and bangs her door right on the side of my car. You should have seen the look on her face when she saw me walking towards my car. I just merely smiled a courtesy smile and I assumed she got the idea that she needed to be more careful about opening her door in a tight parking lot. Since I had the molding on the door, it did no harm. Thank the Lord I had those door strip moldings on, It saved me a big headache. :) |

I'd be lying if I said I never bumped my door on something. Door moldings and edge strips are great for the klutz in all of us! :) | ||||||||
