"You Can't Handle A Wagon!!!"
At least, not according to the old fossil who sold me his 1986 Pontiac Parisienne Safari in March 2000. Personally, I think I'm handling it a little better than he did, considering that his idea of "rust repair" was to apply white house paint to the affected area with a brush. So, if you are one of the few fans of the underappreciated, oversized vehicle known as the Pontiac Parisienne Safari, you'll like this site. But don't stop here - if you don't already own one, go out and drive a Parisienne! They're certainly more interesting than those boring new cars.

"Look out! It's a Parisienne!"
"Whew! I think it missed us!"
What do you think? Is it longer than a school bus?
"Flight 450, bank left over the Parisienne...Of course you can't miss it, it's bigger than Rhode Island!"
You know your car has character when the front seat looks like someone's living room furniture.
Now, that's legroom!
"Driver! How's the weather up there in the front?"
Yes, that says 38,036. Either the previous owner didn't drive much, or he spent a lot of time backing up.

Parisienne Repairs/Maintenance
"So," you ask, "What kind of wacko bought this car, and then made a website about it?" Good question. I'm an 18 year old college student. I'm from NJ; I got to college in PA. I like cars, the paranormal (UFOs, etc.) and making money selling other people's junk. I raised the money needed to buy and maintain this aircraft-carrier-sized vehicle by selling used hubcaps.
Other Stuff
I'm always looking for something automotive to work on, and now that the major Parisienne renovations are done, it just takes routine maintenance and careful driving to keep the car looking and running OK. Fortunately, my enjoyment of car repairs is currently being fulfilled by a new project: a 1977 Toyota Celica ST, which is to become my younger brother's daily driver when he gets his learner's permit in 3/2002. It needs quite a bit of work before that happens, and you can see its progress on this page.
