I think of myself first as a writer, and second as a musician. Along with writing songs, I also spend a lot of time writing poetry, which I have done since I was 13 years old. My musical influences are extremely far reaching. I find inspiration in everything I hear, and try not to limit myself to one musical style.
My favorite artists include Type O Negative, Glen Danzig, The Doors, Black Sabbath, Pantera, and Igor Stravinsky. I am also a great fan of Robert Frost poetry.
I use Ibanez and Epiphone guitars, Dean Markley Blue Steel strings, Peavey and Laney amps, Art processors, and any microphone I can get my hands on. |
