Sorry for the late update, had to get my new computer up and running, and since they so kindly didn't include MS Frontpage with the comp I'm stuck updating with geocities' text editor for now... so I dunno if I'll be doing as much updating... Anyway I heard that there's a release coming soon for the Japanese PS2, Pop'n Music: The Best which should be interesting for fans of that series... also interesting to note is one of the songs (the title escapes me at the moment)is by dj TAKA feat. ASAKO and features the IIDX character Tran as its character. so whether she's in the game or not, I dont know... We'll see. ;)

Admittedly this is kinda late, but whatever... hope you had a safe and happy new years, anyway I just stumbled across a juicy bit of info to get this new year started off, so here you go:

DDRMAXUSA2 Announced!

That's right ladies and gentlemen, it was officially announced today that Konami has an update planned for their PS2 release, DDRMAX! Not much is known at this time as far as songs/modes/etc. but as news develops, you'll see it here when I get it!

First Extreme Unlock!

I just discovered the first unlock code for DDR EX! special thanks go to the dj Trunks board for posting it:

To input the code follow the instructions below.

1. Go into "Game Options" from the operator's menu and once inside that screen select "CLEAR MACHINE POINT". When prompted select "YES". This will erase all point data your machine has gathered.
2. Return to the main menu and highlight "Game Options" again. While highlighting "Game Options" hold down the service button, the first player down arrow and then press the first player start button. This should bring you to the Secret Options menu.
3. Inside secret options select "APPEND". Then input the code. The first player left and right arrows scroll through the spaces, and the first player start button scrolls through the letters.
4. Once the password is entered hold the first player left and right selection arrows and press the first player start. It should confirm the code is correct.
