Page in memory of "Corky", Pied (C), Born: 1984, Died: 2000, Owner: Robert Roach. He was a beautiful bird, fathered many offspring, learned to say "Hi Corky", "Praise the Lord", "Pretty Bird" and the pretty woman whistle. He outlived many dogs, cats, fish, lizards, hamsters and other pets.

Name: Tai Sex: H, never mated Mutation: Pearl (Pied recessive) Born: Spring, 2001 Parents: "Corky" (C) Pied, Robert Roach; "Esther" (H) Pearl Robert Roach Siblings: Too many to list, most not living. Notes: Tai is a very independent bird. She is semi-tame. She knows the "Step up" command.

Name: Baby (for now) Sex: Y, never mated Mutation: Grey (Pearl-Pied recessive) Born: August, 2002 Parents: Shae (C) Kwan (H) Siblings: "Didge" (Y), Robert Steidl, Owner. Notes: Has untraditional yellow feathers and variations in grey coat, but a very pretty bird. Was injurred Dec. 2002 by Shae in a territory fight.

Name: Shae (after Jimmy Shae, speed skater, 2002 Olympics, "Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy Shae...Where callin' Jimmy") Sex: C, mated Mutation: Pied dominant (not pure, poss. whiteface?) Bought: As adult, Spring, 2002 Parents: Unknown Offspring: "Didge"(Y) Robert Steidl,  "Baby" (Y) David Roach Siblings: Unknown Notes: Very tame and gentle. Has untraditional grey markings on his traditional yellow pied head. Looks very similar to "Corky", Tai's father. He likes Crispx cereal. Has learned the "Pretty Woman" whistle since we've owned him.

Name: Kwan (after Michelle Kwan, figure skater, 2002 Olympics, placed 2nd) Sex: H, mated Mutation: Pearl dominant, Pied recessive Bought: As adult, Spring, 2002 Parents: Unknown Offspring: "Didge"(Y) Robert Steidl,  "Baby" (Y) David Roach Siblings: Unknown Notes: A nice bird and fairly good mother. Her darker color makes us guess that she has Pied recessive genes. She likes Crispx cereal.

Name: Shi Ann Sex: Y, never mated Mutation: Albino dominant Bought: just weaned, Dec., 2002 Parents: Unknown Offspring: None. Siblings: Unknown, bred by The Bird Man Notes: Shoulder/Hand Tame. Seems to have a upper mandible defect (underbite). We will probably not mate this one to avoid passing on the defect. Red eyes are very dark.
