This page is a list of some  projects that I am working on,  and articles that I intend to post to this site in the future. 
1) VLS - Virtual Limit Switch
 
The VLS uses the position sensing potentiometer in a hacked servomotor to electronically limit thr range of motion of the leg assembly powered  by that servo.

I have (as time and circumstances allow) been trying to put together a series of articles about this useful concept.  Thanks to some input and help from Wilf Rigter it should be a useful addition to the BEAM GRAB BAG of circuits.
2) USRP - Urgent State Response Prioritizer
The USRP is an analog  alternative to Robinson's H-Switch concept.

It can be used to  proiritize behavioral responses to stimmulous, according to the strength of the sensor signals it is receiving.

The USRP circuit can be used alone, or in conjunction with  H-Switch modules to produce a bot with both Instictive  and  Situation Based reactions to external conditions and its own internal state.
