Director's Welcome

Shalom!  Welcome to our web site.

My name is Dror Segal.  I am the new curator and director of the Museum of Regional and Mediterranean Archaeology.

This museum has existed for almost forty years.  It contains very rare collections from the Mediterranean and Aegean cultures.  Most of the artifacts come from the areas of Italy, Greece, Egypt and Persia.

Other parts of the museum contain artifacts that reflect the rich and ancient history of the area.  For example, we have a wing filled with artifacts from the shopping area in Beit Shean's main archaeological dig.
