Melbourne - August, 2001

Megan and I went to Melbourne sometime in July to see Cold Play, as we all know who they are, right?.. Yeah, so anyway, we went for a weekend, and stayed in a place called Williamstown. They have pretty funky trains down there, with the dangling things on the trains to hold on to if you are standing up, like you see on subway trains in Asia, or London or something. Of course, knowing me, I brought a camera, and below are a few of the shots of Melbourne I took. We went to the city on the Saturday, danced around there for a bit, did some shopping (as you do) and yeah, just saw as much Melbourne as you could really.

We saw Cold Play on the Sunday night at the Pavillion Hall, and it certainly was worth the effort of getting a plane and living through the cool weather. They were supported by Zed, who do get a fair amount of airplay, and will probably get more. Cold Play may release a new album at the end of the year or at the beginning of next, so keep your eyes open. They are more likely to play heavier/louder stuff next album, which will certainly be interesting.

This is a unique shot of Megan here, most likely admiring the simplest things in life.

This is a dog, I have nothing more to say. Furthermore, what else would you even want me to say?

This is the view of the city I assume from a small park near Williamstown shops. This picture, like the others I think, have come out quite nicely, considering that I didn't use a digital camera.

Here is a park I think in the North West of the city of Melbourne. I think it was a little cold when I was there, yeah it was - I had my coat, or more to the point, I needed my coat. But this park had a vibe, and so I attempted to capture it.
