| Let me welcome you to the New Patient Page. I assume you are here to learn more about Chiropractic. Whether yourself or someone you know is presently dealing with a health issue there are options to help you achieve your goals of good health. Chiropractic works with the spine to locate and correct vertebral subluxations, which affects the function of the nervous system. A change in the flow of nerve transmissions produces symptomatic changes in the body. The picture on the right shows how nerves become irritated affecting the proper flow of nerve transmission. |

| This patient is having a cervical (neck) examination using a neuro-collameter. This instrument can be used through the entire spine. It is designed to detect heat changes around the spinal column. For more information of this instrument go to treatment room on the home page. |
| The picture on the right shows the entire spine from a lateral (side) view. Notice how the spine curves to the right at the top,left in the center and right again at the bottom. These curves add strength to the spine and better flexability. The picture below is of the cervical (neck) spine. Notice the foramina openings where the spinal nerves (green) emit from. A subluxation produces an irratation to these nerves leading to many symptoms. |
