Tank specs

The aquarium is a 75 gal Oceanic with about 70 lbs of Fiji live rock. Live rock and some corals are from Marine Center, awesome selection! Current is provided by 4 powerheads plus return from sump. An over-flow skimmer box takes water to a Rubbermaid sump where heaters and pH probe are located. Protein skimmer is a down-draft type similar to a Reef Devil and is powered by a Mag 7 pump, both from Premium Aquatics. Return is a Little Giant 2MD (soon to be replaced) Lighting is provided by 2 175 watt 10,000K German MH bulbs and 2 40 watt actinic bulbs. I use Kent Marine additives such as Lugol's, Coral-Accel, Turbo Calcium, and Strontium/Molybdenum. Water comes from an UltraPure 35gpd RO system. A word about UltraPure...this is a great system and the customer service has been excellent. After I ordered, they were waiting on parts to build my system and then shipped it 2nd Day Air at no extra charge. I also use Instant Ocean or Reef Crystal salt mix.
