The Frame is made of 2" square tube with a wall thickness of .120 and the tongue is 2.5" square tube, the axle tube is ratied for 3500 lb and the stubes are 2000 lb the springs are also rated at 2000 lb the axle is set back 4" from the standrd Benroy for two reasons one is to keep the kitchen weight set over the axle and to help protect the rear of the trailer from draging  when offroad, with 15" tires the trailer has a grond clerance of 21" to the bottom of the frame.
The sub frame is made from 5/4" white oak which was chosen for it's strength and rot resistance all voids are filled with insulation and all gaps are filled with foam.
