| This is a bit of a gutsy move for me... I just started writing poetry this year and well i haven't quite gotten past the rhyming stage lol... I've had some wonderful inspiration from some of my very best friends and I reckon it'd be as much a tribute to them to show my poetry here... I've been finding that writing poetry has been a lovely way to express myself and though it's not everyone's cup of tea, it's all pretty meaningful to me... I'm just more then grateful that I've found this creative outlet :o)~ |

| Bunny Recall When I was little Was the hunt gave me thrills For chocolate easter bunnies And coloured eggs with frills We’d slide out of bed Look down on the ground And trails of glosette raisins Led to chocky treasures abound I look back and smile Cuz our grandpa would tease us That bunny left turds Lord thundering jaysus You’re not gunna eat that Put that into your mouth Ohhhh you won’t like it You’ll see, I’ve no doubt Here, let me test that It’s for your safety you’ll see And I’d hand him my raisins His duty to watch over me A wrinkle in his brow A look of displeasure He’d toss one in his mouth And discover the treasure Well that bunny’s not bad I wouldn’t have thought so Here give me another You sure got lots though I think they’re okay Say give this a try I think we’re alright now We’re not gunna die My security established I’d sit there with him And share all my treats Just to see his big grin I really don’t recall now When the hunting stopped That last venture out When my bunny dream popped One thing I can tell you That I’ll never forget Sittin on the knee of my grandpa Our testing not done yet |
