Know all men by these present that I James MOORE of the county above for an in consideration of the sum thirty one pound five shillings Current Money of this State to me in hand paid by John HARDISON Junior. The receipt where of I do acknowledge and myself fully satisfied and contented, have bargained sold and delivered one tract of land lying and being in the County above (not legible) to him the (not legible) John HARDISON Junior. (not legible) and bounded as follows. Beginning on the west side of the Deep Run Swamp at a Cypress on the road running thence down the Swamp to a Cypress thence nearly a Southward course to a Cherry tree on the lane thence nearly a Northeast course to John Hardison line. Containing by estimation Fifty Acres (not legible). I James MOORE for myself my heirs assign for ever will warrant and defend (not legible) John HARDISON his heirs and assigns against all lawful claims af any person or persons whatsoever I witness. Where I have set my hand and seal this eighth day of October the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred an Twenty Three.
