Everyone took a chair and sat down. I decided to seize this moment as an opportunity to make immense. Me- “B4 nebody says nething else…there’s sumthing I wanna say…” I looked towards Chris & saw him nodding and smiling back. Me- “look u guys, I asked u all here for a reason, well c, I know that I haven’t lived here a long time yet and all….but I feel like within the time I have been here, I’ve kinda helped to screw things up…And I’m very sorry for nething that I have done to ne of u guys to make u mad, upset, or uneasy…I didn’t try to mess up nebody’s life, and I hope that u can except my apology…” While I said this I made sure that I made eye contact with Eva. I knew that I was definitely over-do for an apology to her & I really did feel bad about it, too. After another moment of silence, Eva cleared her throat to speak. Eva- “Val, I’ve been thinking about this whole tape thing and well……I wanna forgive u for it. And Gabby & Cate, I wanna forgive u guys too. Staying mad doesn’t help nething, I wanna start over again... What do ya think?” Gabby was immediate to answer… Gabby- “I say yeahh!!!” Cate- “That is, if u say alright??” Greg- *scratching his chin* “Dangit that sounds familiar….” *Matt takes the liberty to whack Greg in the back of the head* Greg- “heyy, Ouchies!!!” Me- “Well, I’m for it…” Eva- “ok good….and another thing… Val, AND Jesse…. I’m sorry about Friday nite, I was totally outta line...Jess, ya know I love ya babe, but umm…can we just 4get about that kiss??” Jesse- “PLEASSSSSE! *pauses* oops...I mean, okay, yeah…no hard feelings…” Me- “I guess its only fair that I forgive u too, huh? *laughing* But girl….I hafta admit, u surrre know how to make a girl jealous!” Eva- *brushing herself off* “Thank u thank u….but I don’t plan on doing that again netime soon, don’t worry!” Frankie- “Soooooo, I guess I’m next here, rite?” Greg- *loudly* “Well…DUH!!!” Frankie- *laughing* “okkkayyy Gregory….but newayz, I’m sorry too, Val, I shouldn’t have dared Eva to kiss Jesse…it was mean n im sorry….But that dog thing was still not cool!!!” Me- “Apology accepted…” Chrysta- “Oh yeahhhhh! That reminds me Frankie…Gwenivere looked reaaaaaaally sad after u left…I think she misses you…..” Frankie- “No more puppy-kisses!!! It’s just gross!!!” Matt- “Then I guess it was a good payment for making me sit on Greg’s lap last Tuesday after pizza!” Greg- “Eeeewww, thanx Matt…I was trying to forget about that…!” Frankie- “ummm no comment!” Cate- “OoOooooh, and while everybody is apologizing, I wanna say I’m sorry…to Chrysta and Val…” Chrysta- “Huh? What did u do to me??? OMGG!! *turns to Matt* if she gave u ne video tape of ME then don’t believe it I DIDN’T DO NETHING!!!” Matt- “What, babe?” Cate- “Um no actually I was just sorry for making u answer my truth about Jesse….” Chrysta- “Oh, lol, nvm then…apology accepted!” Me- “Yeah me too….” Chris- “And now me…..I’m sorry for nebody here that I offended, made mad, or nething….I swear I didn’t mean to!!!” Greg- “U guyssss……..I am soooo sorry too!!” Gabby- “Oh jeez, what’d u do Junior?” Greg- *thinking hard* “Weeell…I’m not exactly sure just yet….but I figure that if everybody else is apologizing….there’s GOT to be sumthing that I did wrong…” Jesse- “Dude…u are absolutely without a doubt, the most------” Matt- “-------hopeless guy in the universe…..” Gabby- “Awww, but we wuv u newayzzz!” Frankie- “Wait?? So nobody’s mad at neone now?” Everybody turns to each other and shakes their heads no… Eva- “OoOoooh…except maybe Ryan…I’ve so gotta call him!” Cate- “Where is he newayz??” Me- “Well I called his house to come here too…but he wasn’t home….I dunno…” Jesse- *standing up from his chair* “Well I’ve got an idea!” *Everyone claps* Jesse- *laughing* “Let’s all go to the park and play sum serious b’ball……Everyone versus Chris!” Chris- “Awww man…” Greg- “Don’t worry dude, I’ll be on ure team too….” Chris- “Awww man….” Whew…..ok, things were finally looking better now…and boy was I relieved! I finally began to feel like I could relax…which I hadn’t been able to do very much since I moved in… *+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+* All 10 of us had the best time at those basketball courts, (haha, I DID go home and change into sum less-dressy clothes if that’s what ure wondering.) However, after a ton of laughs and a sweaty basketball game (at which we crushed Chris and Greg 21-6.) we all decided to make our ways home. It was just about 6’o clock and the sun was starting to make its way down the sky…forming a beautiful sunset. It was so pretty that Jesse & I decided to walk the whole way home….ummm, just 3 or 4 blocks, hehe…. Me- *while taking in a deep breath of fresh air* “U know, I’m so glad that things seem to be working out now…” Jesse- “yeah! After Friday night I didn’t think that things could be resolved so quickly…” After a few more words, I decided to change the subject… Me- “I think I really like it here in Westchester….” Jesse- *raising one eyebrow* “Are u for real?” Me- *confused* “Huh? What do u mean?” Jesse- “Everything seems so perfect now…ure so perfect…” Uhhhh…what was that? Could he repeat that just one more time, please??? Me, Valerie Johnson….perfect? Nope. Just didn’t fit. Me- *laughing* “Oh please! Yeah rite hun! But u wanna know sumthing secret??” Jesse- “What? Yess….” I took a step closer to him and whispered into his ear, “I think I love u, Jesse McCartney…” I think that I caught Jesse blush, just for a slight second after I said that. He smiled one of his wonderful, heart-melting smiles and then went on to say….. Jesse- “I wanna ask u sumthing….” Me- “Ok, shoot….” Jesse- “Kay, well….next Saturday the other guys n I have a concert down in Massachusetts….and I was thinking that maybe u’d like to come down with me? Then I could meet ure friend u were talking about…Jana?” Me- “Oh, oh my gosh! That’s a great idea! I’d love to!” I gave my bf a quick peck on the check. Me- “Oh it’ll be great! Oh u’ll love Jana! I just know u will! It’ll be sooo much fun!” I continued to ramble on about the concert the rest of the way home, until I said goodbye to Jesse at my front door. This was gonna be sooo awesome!! |
