| Study Question Assignments and Quizzes Students will be responsible for the content of the chapters by doing the study questions that apply to each section. These questions are availabe online at the study question link on the history page. Students will take quizzes which are directly related to the questions done as homework or in class. The correct answer will be presented during class discussion or by lecture during class. The quizzes are multiple chioce and may be done in recall mode by the student, using notes by the student or in student groups. The quizzes can be corrected by the student for 1/2 credit back. The quizzes are generally 10 questions worth 5 points each. They are used to evaluate whether the students are mastering the content of the text. This mastry is important to go on to higher order discussions and activities. This is one part of the student's grade along with all other activities which are done in class or checked as daily work. |
