2. 2 dc in 3rd ch from hook
3. 3 dc in each ch across
4. Chain 50--at this point use a piece of scrap yarn
and mark this chain. This is very important.
5. Now continue and ch 23 turn.
6. 2 dc in 3rd ch from hook
7. 3 dc in each ch until you reach your marker.
Fasten off. Weave in loose ends. Remember this can be adjusted to any size. my daughter has fine hair and I made this for her hair.
Now to make the Bookworm
Now if you want to make the bookmarker---on step 4 chain the length that you want and fasten off. Make a pom-pom and attach at the end of the chain. Now glue on eyes and a felt mouth (on the curly end) and you have a cute gift.
