| After leaving the main glade you come uppon a vast valley. The towering pines seem to watch you. Suddenly you knowtice the mysty fog. The air is damp and moist, as if before a stomr. About four feet of fog hangs over the ground. The invisible sky rubmles ominusly and a brief flash of lighting in the distance gives the place an errie glow. A dark shadow begins to appear in the swirling myst. You back up a step. The myst seems to swirrl over to the figure, its coming closer. You can make out a vage form but nothing else. After meeting some of the inhabitants of this place you begin to wonder if now would be a good time to flee. Finnaly the myst seperates as if commanded by the thing in it. Siting before you is a masked Kat. A funny looking thing that can only be a mimick sits on his tail. He regards you with an unblinking stare. Those glowing crimson eyes seem to boar right into your soul So wh..whose that? you stutter, anything to remove his attention from you. He nods at the mimick, he calls himself L'ombra. Who are you that wanders in places you are not confident about entereing? You give your name and the crimson eyes blink slowly once. The peirceing gaze is back on you again. Sudenly you knowtice the red and blue marks on what appears to be a mask covering his face. You quickly ask what they mean. He sighs as if explaining something to a young child. It says "Be thy Confidance." Sudenly the clouds seem to explode overhead. At the same time a blinding flash lights the area. You stumble away, happy for an excuse to get away from the strange being. After awhile you realize you didnt even find out his name. Then you stumble on a simple carving on a trunk on the edge of the valley. |
