Pour information, l'AsPiC (association des pilotes de Cag=
e) travaille
actuellement avec Jean-Louis Darlet (inventeur de la Cage) et la
FFVL (Fédération française de vol-libre) à la mise en place d'un
cursus de "formateur Cage".
Quid de la formation à la Cage au Québec ?
Faites-nous part de vos besoins de manière à ce que nous
puissions réfléchir à la solution ad-hoc.

D'après le courriel suivant, il semble que les Muller de Cochrane en Alberta
risquent de perdre leur licence d'exploitation de leur site.
Si vous les connaissez, vous les appréciez sûrement. Prendre 10 minutes de
votre temps pour les appuyer serait très apprécié.

P.P.S. Le vol libre a toujours été très fragile, peu importe la
municipalité, la province ou le pays. Continuez de respecter les voisins,
les propriétaires et les règlements afin de le conserver aussi longtemps que
possible.

Depuis plus de vingt ans que je vole, j'ai souvent constaté que les sites de
vol qui dépendent du bon vouloir du propriétaire et finissent souvent par
fermer ou voir les accès limiter à quelques pilotes seulement.
Si les anciens sites de Mont St-Louis, St-Adrien D'Irlande , St-Hilaire,
Orford, Owl Head, du parc des Hirondelles, du parc de la Gatineau et de Ste
Catherine de Hatley ne vous disent rien c'est peut être parce qu'à tour de
rôle ils ont été interdit à la pratique du vol libre.
Pourquoi les pilotes de Yamaska ont-ils décidé d'acheter les terrains de
décollage et l’atterrissage du club ? Les pilotes du club ont investit plus
de $250,000.00 $ depuis 20 ans afin de protéger la pratique du vol libre au
mont Yamaska. On n'investit pas un quart de million pour rire.
Les deux exemples qui nous sont offerts ici sont trop graves pour ne pas
réfléchir collectivement sur la situation.
1 : Le site de Cochrane de Willie Muller est menacé de fermeture parce qu’
un seul voisin a porté plainte. 1 seul !!! Willie opérait là depuis plus de
20 ans. Il a reçu au cour de sa carrière tous les honneurs inimaginables
pour un homme d’affaire et un pilote de vol libre. J’ai même vu dans son
bureau une plaque d’honneur décerné par le gouvernement Albertain pour sa
contribution exceptionnelle au développement de la renommée de l’Alberta.
Et c’est ce site là qui est menacé de fermeture.
2 : Gabriel Talbot nous informait cette semaine que notre voisin M.
Brodeur, un chic type qui nous connaît depuis 20 ans a déposé des plaintes
à la sûreté du Québec, à la municipalité de St-Pie (municipalité où se
trouve les atterrissages du côté Nord de la montagne ) et qu’il s’apprête
à déposer une plainte devant la commission de protection du territoire
agricole du Québec. ( copie du texte de Gabriel ci-joint )
Les deux clubs du mont Yamaska ont déjà eu assez de problèmes avec la CPTAQ
et ont déjà dépensé assez d’argent en avocat (plus de $20,000.00 ) pour des
questions de zonage.
Imaginez si la fondation pour la protection du mont Yamaska (regroupement de
citoyens de St-Paul opposés à la pratique du vol libre à Yamaska qui fut
très actif en 1991- 1992-1993 ) revenait à la charge pour faire limiter ou
interdire la pratique du vol libre à Yamaska?
Le titre principal du Survol de Mars 1992 était :
Danger :Yamaska , population en colère.
Qui a envie de revivre une autre réunion devant le conseil municipal de
St-Paul d’Abbotsford comme celle de 6 février 1992 ? Pas moi.
De grâce, ne prenez pas mes craintes pour des hallucinations. Nous avons dû
nous battre très fort et payer très cher pour conserver notre site de vol
libre. Ne faisons pas exprès pour s’attirer les foudres des autorités. Les
Muller se voient menacés de perdre leur site et c'est grave. Protègeons le
notre.
En page 12 et 13 du Survol de Mars 1992, je signais un article intitulé : C’
est le temps de se serrer les coudes et je terminais sur cette phrase :
Selon moi, le temps est vraiment arrivé pour laisser de côté nos différents
et s’unir.
Faut croire que j’ai de la suite dans les idées.

Salut à tous,
J’imagine que tous les pilotes ont eu une pensée durant la fin de
semaine pour le vol libre. Moi aussi et en allant prendre une marche au
mont Yamaska j’ai rencontré Jean Brodeur. Jean est le propriétaire de la
sablière situé au pied des décollages nord du mont Yamaska. Jean est un
ami de longue date et en janvier dernier il m’avait raconté ses
mésaventures de l’été dernier avec des pilotes qui étaient allé atterrir
dans sa sablière. En fait, ce n’est plus une sablière à ses yeux car il
a travaillé très fort depuis deux ans pour l’aménager et la fertiliser.
Il prévoit pouvoir convertir cette ancienne sablière en terre cultivable
d’ici peu.
C’est avec beaucoup de révolte que l’été dernier il a vu des traces de
roues dans son champ labouré.. Contrairement à plusieurs cultivateurs,
Jean laboure et sème son champs à l’automne et non pas au printemps. Il
fait pousser une sorte de maïs pour nourrir ses poulets qui peut être
semé à l’automne. Vous comprendrez que le « twit » qui est passé dans
son champs a laissé deux belles traces que Jean a vu tout l’été puisque
le maïs n’a pas poussé à ces endroits.
D’autres pilotes ont aussi atterri dans ses champs pendant l’été et
selon Jean c’est toujours avec un mépris pour lui et sa propriété que ça
se passait
Jean a fait une plainte officielle à la municipalité de St-Pie l’été
dernier pour mentionner la tournure des évènements.
En janvier dernier, lorsque Jean m’a mis au courant je lui ai
immédiatement dit de me contacter si cela se reproduisait.
Depuis deux semaines, il voit encore des pilotes atterrir chez lui comme
si c’était un atterro officiel. Il a contacté la sureté du Québec pour
porté plainte mais la police de tient pas à se mêler de ceci. Il a
refait une plainte à la municipalité. Pour plusieurs pilotes qui ne
connaissent pas la petite histoire du vol libre à Yamaska, je tiens à
vous mentionner que la municipalité a toujours été de notre coté et nous
a toujours appuyé pour la promotion de nos activités. Ce n’est donc pas
le temps de se les mettre à dos.
Jean me dit qu’il va porter plainte auprès de la commission de la
protection du territoire agricole pour faire cesser les atterrissages
dans son champs.
Si nous ne voulons pas de très gros problèmes pour le sport à Yamaska,
je demande à tous de bien respecter toutes les propriétés privées
entourant le mont Yamaska. Depuis quelques années Carl Tremblay et Club
de vol libre Yamaska ont dépensé de très grosses sommes d’argent pour se
défendre devant la commission agricole et faire que nous puissions voler
tranquille.
Je demande aux directions des deux clubs et de Distance vol libre de
bien vouloir entrer en contact immédiatement avec ses membres pour que
cesse immédiatement les atterrissages ailleurs que sur les terres où une
entente signée permet d’atterrir.
Il est donc important que tout le monde se comporte de façons
responsables.

propriété j'ai mentionné qu'un pilote avait circulé dans son champs avec
son véhicule. On m'a fait remarqué que la cloture de Jean est toujours
barré, alors comment se fait-il qu'il y aie des traces. C'est parce que
le pilote a alors décidé de passé par l'entré utilisé pour la machinerie
agricole qui elle n'est pas fermé par une cloture. Voila. Si quelqu'un
met une cloture c'est qu'il veut personne.
