Tony was drafted by the New York Rangers in 1988. They later traded him to Chicago. He has since become a top forward.
Tony was a member of Team USA's 1996 World Cup Winning Team. He also went to Nagano and won Silver at Salt Lake City.
Amonte has always led his team through adversity and was rewarded with the "C" after the depature of Captain Chris Chelios.
Tony signed with Phoenix during the Summer of 2002...hmmm former teammate JR went to Pheonix enroute to Philly...
