1987 Chevy Cavilier Wagon
2.5L V6, paid $150
I ran this car in two races. The first race was a figure 8 and it poured rain right
before the heat. I finished second and got $75. It didn't suffer too much damage.
The second race was an enduro run, sort of like a mini motorcross track. The car ran
ok, but it just wasn't very fast. I was having a good time taking the big jump at full
speed and catching some air. I finished the race a few laps down. An inspection the
next day revealed that I had smashed the heck out of the oil pan/filter and the car
wasn't worth fixing and I scraped it.
