I put a new transmission in it and got it running fine.
I ran a figure 8 race with it. I won my heat and advanced to the finals.
I was doing pretty good in the finals, until I got stuck on a tire and it took a little while to get off.
I ended up finishing 7th and got my first trophy.
This was the first year that the fair gave out trophys, or I'd a had a half dozen or so.
The car was in pretty good shape still, so I ran a derby with it a month later.
I ended finishing 4th in my heat, but only the top 3 advanced to the finals.
Something went in the electrical system. I almost sold it after the derby, but ended up bringing it back home.
It is really trashed. I will get it running again and figure 8 it again
