Who am I am Pogo^, or that's the nick I use on mIRC.  Let  me tell you a little about myself as I open this site. I am  simply a fan of Walt Kelley the cartoonist who wrote for  years. My collection includes the book, I Go Pogo. My  favorite cartoon is about a little guy in a swamp in Ga.

 I  hang on mIRC and use the nickname Pogo^ . I have  studied Art throughout my life with some real wonderful  teachers but never stayed with it. I would try different  kinds of Art, like sculpting, welding, and painting, only to do it until I get bored. This computer is not boring me or I have grown. I am 36 have had surgery for my epilepsy and have time to just sit around and color and it's fun. Peace.

So I've been having a lot of fun on mIRC,  hehehehe. I won a contest and was basically  given a site around April 2001. About the same  time allowed to put some Art in my first  #mIRC_Rainbow file called mrPeekrz. It was  fun. I found out it was fun to celebrate holidays  and events like anniversaries of the channel and  other people :)
 I had changed my nickname after a few months  to  jasarbean, in memory of my Muslim friends  calling me jasar for courageous after my left temporal lobectomy for epilepsy that led me to the computer to learn 3rd grade over (the bean was a code we used in #mIRC in coloring and also what I think my brain actually is sometimes lol). Rough to be named Brian with brain surgery hehe.

Sept 11,2001. We will never forget the attacks on the U.S.A. I have pride in my Country. I changed my name back to Pogo-bean after the 40's-60's Georgia Cartoon. Before that I worked with others on a file we did real quick to support our Country, called mrPride.We all pulled together and showed Unity of friends and family.

Jan2002 mrBean was released and Scot was right I could color a little. Thank You ScoT. I am reminded daily, if nothing changes ,nothing changes.

I am trying to practice more acceptance of myself today but I have to admit I am an mIRC addict. I updated mrBean to simply Pogobean.mrc with a little more in it so I'd be happier with the file.

Now I have a Pogobean2.mrc and am learning to draw some Ascii Art ..... More Fun!!!!! I'm still on Dalnet and have good friends and am grateful.Some Goals have been acheived in life small but it is a good feeling ,kinna silly but I feel blessed today :).The future does go on, it is available here.Many friends are online.
