| Day Zero Registration Day with the Bra Bra SIsterhood |
| Pink hair and all ... Sally & I are just as happy as can be!! We are just hours away from embarking on this incredible journey once again!! The longest line nor the immediate need for additional pledges could not bring us off this inspirational, 3-Day induced high. |
| This year, pledges were scarce and we were a bit scared. We needed $1900 each to be able to participate. Both of were lacking ... but we had faith. We came equipped signs "Will sing for pledges" and "And my little monkey will dance" ... and before long, a fellow walker passed by. I sang a little song and Sally danced a little jig. We made our minimum!! We thank the group, the Walkie Talkies, for their generosity and HUMANKINDNESS. |

| We met so many wonderful walkers and crew members online at AVON's message boards and formed a new group .... the Bra Bra Sisterhood. Most of us had never met each other, but had become quite close chatting about the event on the boards. We decided to have a nice dinner together to kick off the walk. Yummy!!! Having prepared a song to sing to the group, but lacking the necessary CD player to perform it inside ... I looked to my sister, Michelle, for assistance. She pulled her convertible up to the front of the restaurant and we had a BLAST!! It was Lady Marmalade ... 3-Day style. |
