Saint Simon's Island

What's even better than having a house at the beach?!

Having a RELATIVE that does!!

My father-in-law, Terry, lives on Saint Simon's Island.  He's got it made.  When most of us are planning our summer vacations to one beach or another, he is coming home from work to that same fun in the sun we crave.

Each visit to the Golden Isles provides us with all the treasures the beach has to offer as well as wonderful fellowship with Terry.  We do all sorts of entertaining things from dining with the locals on the Emerald Princess to running from alligators in the creeks of the Hampton River.

Following are some pictures from various trips to Saint Simon's which I hope you will enjoy.

This shrimp boat, which was relocated by a tropical storm, is always a neat site to see.  It has remained untouched and lies in one of the creeks up the Hampton River

My beloved ... trying to remove the hook from a petite 2.5 ft hammerhead.

Always a fun time surf-fishing on the island.
