Rain
Oh! This rain
Drizzling away
The moors are awash
I am so depressed
Whole day it drizzeled
Having rained through the night
The lovely morning sun
Blanked out
Oh! This rain
The jasmine flowering
Its bloom wasted
The ‘Parijat’ flowers
Laid waste
Trampled in the mud
Oh! This rain
Wet leaves dripping from above
Beautiful wings of pretty birds
Soaked
Oh! This rain
Rivers big and small
Have become one in flood
Where Oh! Where is my Love
Marooned somewhere
I am so unhappy
Oh! This rain
Drizzling away
