Happy
Easter
from the
Kudricks!
Yes, spring has indeed sprung here in western Pennsylvania, but we have some catching up to do from earlier in the year. Above and to the right are memorable photos from Seven Springs resort, where we spent a few hours snow-tubing on Maggie's birthday. It was a perfectly beautiful winter day for our little princess (and the rest of us) to enjoy!
Later that same day, we hit Chuck E. Cheese's for some pizza and games, then headed back home for a special horse cake that Maggie helped make. The very next day, it was up and at 'em early for Mommy and Maggie. Both of them traveled to Washington, DC, by bus with a group from our home church, Cornerstone Ministries, to participate in the March for Life and take a stand for all the little ones who have no voice but ours to say, "Hey, world! I'm alive, and I am wanting to live!"
On the anniversary of Mr. Rogers' birthday, Mommy and the kids visited the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh (free admission, no less!) and made friends with good ol' Mr. McFeely. And, showing their creativity, Jed, Maggie, and Elizabeth created a mustached, fedora-topped snowman with a little help from Daddy.
For the second year in a row, we got together to celebrate the birthday of John's Great Aunt Mary, who is 94 years young this year. Also pictured are Aunty Mary's daughter, Darlene, and our Uncle John (who drove in from Cleveland for the gala event). You may note the Steelers shirts being sported by Aunt Mary, Darlene, and John. Well, it was Super Bowl Eve ...
... And that meant the next day was game time! Black and gold ruled the day, both for our attire and for the awesome Super Bowl game that it was. Along with our good friends Aaron and Lynn, we cheered, we laughed, we cried, we sat on the edge of our seats, we held our breath, and finally we cheered again. A typical Steelers game for the 2008 season!
Come March, Jed hit the gridiron for some rag-tag football. The first game was a classic played in the mud on a crisp spring day. Dejected after nearly getting an interception in that victory, Jed bounced right back in the next matchup to turn on the jets and give hot pursuit to a fleet-footed ballcarrier. Jed's team, the Dolphins, lost the second game to even up their record at 1-1, so our little footballer is eager for the next game on April 19.
Last but not least, on the heels of the vernal equinox came the annual Father-Daughter Spring Dance. This year, Elizabeth joined the fun for a night of dinner, dancing, and lots of memories for our little princesses.
We pray that God would bless you and yours this Easter as you remember Christ's great love for us! Remember . . .
He chose the nails for you.

Thanks for stopping by!
