My name, as you will know it on the web, is Auri Leigh Fitzgerald.  That's not my given name, but it'll suffice for my internet purposes.  Those of you who know me personally will know me differently, but that's okay. . .just bear with me here.  I'm just going to tell a little bit about me here. . just some basic information, being as you have a whole bunch of other pages where you can find out more!  And that is me on the left, honestly.  Whether I should like it to be me or not.

I first got started with this internet thing about three years ago . . .and I've been having a blast with it ever since.  I mainly used it to promote my rabbit business at first, but since I'm getting out of that (or am pretty much out of it now) I'm using this for other interests.  I love art, animals, music, writing, reading, science, and making pages for the web.  I'm far from what I'd call an expert, but I can throw together the basic page.

SCHOOL:

I've graduated High School but so far have had no ambitions to continue on to college.  I had ambitions to be a vet and go to prestigious veterinary med schools, but I got to thinking about it more closely and realized I really didn't want to do that afterall.  I can't say that I won't continue schooling at all.  It's always good to have a back up plan.  I have no ambitions, and no desire to have a career away from the home at all.  If I do go back to school it will be to major in biology sciences (of some sort), and perhaps consider a career in a related field when I'm a bit older.  There are a lot of people in my family who don't agree or support me in this thinking at all, but I'm not here to please them. My happiness is more important, and has nothing to do with their ideas for my future.  That's all I'll say on that subject. 

ETHICS, POLITICS, & RELIGION:

Many people, maybe even you, don't agree with my ideas on ethics and politics either.  But that's okay.  That's what opinions are for.  I won't go into my political ideas here.  I don't want to make enemies right away.  In fact, I'll leave it up to you if you want to jump into the political ring with me or not.  I'm not a democrat, I'm not a feminist, I don't like either. . .so if that's the type of political conversation you're looking for, I'm sorry that I'm not able to help you.  Otherwise, difference of opinion or not, you may find that I'm not all that bad of a person.  At least, I don't think so.

I love the sciences, but I don't think science would be possible without religion.  Many people believe in one or the other, my theory is simply that science just explains religion.  Strange, huh?  Well, there will be opportunity for me to discuss this farther. . .but I'm a God fearing person who enjoys learning how everything works as well.  Whether or not I believe in creation, the big bang theory, evolution, and other theories really makes no difference here.

HOBBIES:

As anybody, I have things that I love to do in my past time.  My biggest hobby was my rabbit business.  I raised and showed rabbits, sold for pets and show stock, and constantly worked at improving my lines.  Things happened, and I've gotten sick of the way things were becoming so I haven't had any desire to carry on with that hobby any more.  But never fear, I had others to fall back on.  I'm an amateur artist.  I'm not fantastic, but not lowsy either. I do have a page with a few pictures I've drawn up.  I also like to write stories about fantasy (dragons, unicorns, princesses, princes, wizards. .etc), and have even attempted horror and mystery. I've never finished a story, but some have grown to some length.  Most are handwritten, and one I have is over 160 pages (by hand).  Sure, not a novel yet-but I've only just begun in the plot!  I also love music.  I love to listen to it, and I also used to play it.  I played saxophone for the school band.  I had the privelege of going on tour to Europe, and also playing with the Nuclear Whales Saxophone Orchestra.  I don't play the sax anymore, since I graduated, but I do sit down at the piano now and again.  The type of music I like to listen to is: new age, classical, some jazz, swing, rock, pop, metal, and techno.  I don't care too much for country, rap, r&b, or opera. . but there are always a couple songs of each of those flavors that will agree with me some.

LOVES OF MY LIFE:

The rabbits were the love of my life for a couple of years.  I spent so much time and money on them, it would probably make a sane person sick.  But, things change. . .and so does one's heart.  I met who would soon become my husband, and my interest in my other love began to fade.  But it was when I became pregnant with my baby girl that the rabbits became a thing of the past for me.  Sure, I like them, but I have no drive to keep up the hobby like I did before.  I want to dedicate all my love, attention, and time to my new family.  They are truly what is most important to me.
