In 2006, Mrs Tammy Lynn Déry is now in the midst of completing a Graduate Diploma in Advanced Music Performance Studies at Concordia University, under the tutolage of Guy Pelletier.
During her undergraduate studies at Concordia University, Tammy Lynn was the recipient of many bursaries, such as the prestigious "Irving Mandel Orchestra Scholarship 2003", and the F.A.C.E. Symphony Orchestra Scholarship for the 2002-2003 season.
In 2005, Concordia University presented Mrs Déry with her Baccalaureate in Fine Arts, Specialization in Music Performance Studies, which also bore the mention "with Distinction."
It must be noted that Tammy Lynn has had the opportunity to perfect herself by the hand of some of the most prominent artists in the field, such as Jean-Philippe Tanguay, Heather Howes, Robert Cram, Ransom Wilson, Peter Lloyd, and Robert Langevin.
Tammy Lynn credits a considerable amount of her background in orchestral music to the F.A.C.E. Symphony Orchestra. First joining the FSO as principal piccolo in 2001, and finally, in 2003, she was appointed the principal position. Since then, thanks to the Artist in Residence programme established at F.A.C.E. School, she has had the chance to share her knowledge with many students, from fourth graders to eleventh graders.
As a member of the FSO, Tammy Lynn has also had the chance to perform in some of the most prestigious venues in Montreal, such as Notre-Dame Basilica, Oscar Peterson Concert Hall, the Maisonneuve and Jean-Duceppe Theatres of the Place-des-Arts, the Pierre Mercure Concert Hall housed in the Centre Pierre Péladeau, St-Jean Baptist Church and the Claude Champagne Concert Hall.
It must be mentionned that since 2004 she forms, along with her friend, colleague, and guitarist André Chalifour, the "Duo Tempérament."

André Chalifour began his musical studies at the age of 18 and at 21, after doing studies in classical guitar at Vincent d’Indy, he obtained his “Diplôme d’Études Collégiales” in Jazz at Marie-Victorin CEGEP.
After studying 3 years at l’Université de Montréal where he learned the art of
be-bop, he graduated with distinction in Jazz Studies from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Concordia University in 2002.
In 2002, with a renewed interest in classical guitar, he decided to pursue, at Concordia University, a graduate Diploma in Advanced Music Performance Studies which he completed with success in 2006. He is currently pursuing his musical studies at Mcgill University in the program Licentiate in music under the direction of Garry Antonio.
Since September 2001, André Chalifour has taught acoustic, electric (Jazz, Blues, Rock, Pop,) and classical guitar as well as electric bass at the Académie de Musique de LaSalle Inc. He is also very active as a performer, participating in many different kinds of musical competitions, festivals, and concerts. In his many years of teaching, he has also helped in the organization of a tremendous amount of concerts for non-professional musicians.
Since 2004, he forms, along with flautist Tammy Lynn Déry, the
Duo Tempérament.
