| What? You thought you'd actually get away from this when I am a writer? Oh contrare my friend. Ha ha just when you thought it was safe I bring you The writings!!! (dan da daaaa!) I know what you are thinking, oh no not another stuck in an elevator story! You'll not find one on here (although you had best not upset me because I'm sure I can dig one up somewhere!) however you will find some funny, some serious, and just some plain old get down to the nitty gritty stories type of writing. And yes because this is a Duran site all of the stories have to do with Duran. Which brings me to a point. The fiction is not fact. Imagine that! Yes it's true, none of the fiction took place, well execpt for Kat saying Simon was Hot, that happens all the time. Other than that it's all in the realm of the never happened. Sort of like my date with John. And hey if you actually beieved I went on a date with John, have I got some nice ocean front property to sell you...in Kansas. So enough blabbering I'll let you get to reading, but please remember all of the stuff on this page is original (DOTS) and should not be stolen. | All right so technically this isn't a Fan Fiction. (Shock, horror, she writes things besides Duran Duran anthems?!) However it started out as one (entitled Careless Memories) and quickly turned into something much more. I even submitted this one to a Harlequin writing competition (Hense the name change so the good boys of DD wouldn't sue me) but never heard from then again. Hey that's the breaks but at least I took that very first step to becoming a published author. Now then the actual plot. This is a great murder mystery about a dead lead singer and his best friends hunt for the truth. Along her journey Charlie teams up with the band's former bassist (any clues as to who this character could be based on?) as well as her former lover (oh yes this is getting better by the moment!) to find the killer before the killer finds them. Hold on this one is a wild ride! |
