| Seth was nominated for three Emmy Awards along with the other comedy writers of The Rosie O'Donnell Show where he worked for two and a half years. He also wrote the lyics for the opening number of the 1998 Tony Awards featuring Patti LuPone, Betty Buckley and Jennifer Holliday. On Broadway he has played piano in the pit of 15 musicals including PHANTOM, RAGTIME and THE PRODUCERS. He spent the last year as the on-camera theater correspondent on METRO TV's NY Central and is still hosting Seth's Broadway Chatterbox (a live theater talk show which benefits BC/EFA) at Don't Tell Mama every Thursday. Past Chatterbox guests include Matthew Broderick, John Lithgow and Donna McKechnie. Last year he was the Artistic Producer and conductor for the DREAMGIRLS concert with Audra MacDonald, Heather Headley and Lillias White which raised $1,000,000 for The Actor's Fund and was released on CD by Nonesuch. In September he will produce/conduct FUNNY GIRL for the Actor's Fund with many different Fanny Brice's including Kristin Chenoweth, Megan Mullally and Donna Murphy. An award winning stand up comic, he is currently perfoming his one man play, Rhapsody in Seth at the Ars Nova Theater. |
