Drumming Tipsd
So you want to become a drummer, huh? Well that's great that you found this site because it tells you lots of tips. Things from what to buy and how to become a good drummer. Ready? Alright then, lets get started!!
#1. You need a drum set
Pearl Export (mahogany)
22" Bass, 10" Tom, 12" Tom,
14" Tom, 14" Snare
Tama Rockstar (mohagany)
22" Bass, 10" Tom, 12" Tom, 14" Tom, 14"Snare
These are the sets that I would recomend for a beginner to intermediate drummer. These both sell for about $700 but is worth. If you could afford a better drum set I would recomend one with maple drums instead of mahogany. Mahogany has a very good sound, but maple is better. The only con about the maple drum sets is that they cost about double the price. Make sure though that the set you buy sounds good, will last for a few years, and that you have good cymbals to go with it. Cymbals add a lot of color to your dumming and music. Also get a pair of drumsticks! DUH!
#2. Get a good drum teacher
Teachers are a very helpful tool in your drumming life. They'll teach how to play many different kinds of music. Most teachers can usually answer all of your questions and also give you advice on enhancements that you can buy like more cymbals or other drumming equipment. Teachers is a very good tool.
#3. Practice
This is the number one way to get good at the drums. Practice on your set while at home. Tap your pencil and make up beats while your in school, the car (unless your driving), any where!
