Tuesday, April 6th, 2004 - Ornery Blog Host

I have been having problems with my blog host, "Geocities," in that hasn't been allowing me to login or get into my file manager (it won't let me post more stuff). It's working for right now, so I hope that this post shows up. I'll give it some more time to cool off and settle down after this.

I received my acceptance letter to UW-La Crosse for next fall, so over the next week I will be sealing the deal on registering for classes and housing. I will be in Drake Hall with a couple great guys whom I grew closer to on the spring break trip to Panama City Beach. I declared Sociology major again, but we'll see if that's what I stay in or not. I applied to work at a camp this summer, so I will probably be either there or at home working then.

In one of my Bible Studies, we have been diving into the Word to see what God has to say about the Holy Spirit, baptism(s), and "accepting Jesus Christ into our hearts." It has been an intensive, ongoing study for a couple weeks now, but some revelations are still being sought and prayed about; I plan to blog a summary of our discussions and study once all that comes together. In closing, I leave you with a Doug thought from this weekend: I have a friend named Mich (short for Michelle), and when I saw the word "Michigan," I read it as "Mich again." We had a good laugh when I told her, but I still can't get it out of my head because it's really funny for me. I'm sure there are many people who can't wait to see Mich again.
