Tuesday, October 28th, 2003 - Loopy IM Conversation

I just had such a fun conversation with one of my friends who couldn't get to sleep because of a caffeine rush from coffee, and it resulted in a rhyming mayhem! I have changed her screen name to "Friend" to protect her identity; I hope she doesn't mind me posting this, but it was just too fun! I should note that the part I pasted here was the beginning of our saying goodbye, but I think it took us over half an hour before finally ending the conversation.

Friend: and it's super fun to talk with you
DustOffering: yea! it has been wonderful
Friend: ....and the sunset on my screen saver has a tint of blue
Friend: and well coffee should be illegal i should sue
DustOffering: nah
Friend: and well that's about all that'snew
DustOffering: its some ppl's last name
DustOffering: so we gotta keep it legal
Friend: ahh don't you love the feeling of picking off dried glue?
DustOffering: oh stink yeah
DustOffering: i would always get those shavings
Friend: have you noticed the reaccurinng rhyme theme i'm breaking just now?
Friend: that is a fun game for 2 am
DustOffering: actually no :-(
DustOffering: sad day
Friend: umm go back and check it out
Friend: perhaps only for those who attend stout
Friend: but you'd like it i don't doubt!
DustOffering: oh no i like it too
DustOffering: i just didn't realize it
Friend: ahhh Doug i had given you more clout!
DustOffering: cuz i talk like that even when i'm not rhymin on purpose
Friend: see it is what life and conversation's all about
DustOffering: i'm glad i could be at your service
Friend: just if you eat a brat don't use sour krat
Friend: i think for this word i'm about out
Friend: of things to ryhme
Friend: how fun it would be to be on the same word
DustOffering: rhyme* :-)
Friend: ahh thanks ...my spelling is quite absserd
Friend: lol!
DustOffering: absurd*
DustOffering: lol this is fun game too
Friend: especially that one, so bad it broke the RHYME scheme
DustOffering: but its alright cuz now it's time to dream
Friend: only if you're the great speller; the supreme
Friend: i love it when with jesus' light persons eyes do gleam
Friend: !
DustOffering: but it does seem
DustOffering: that they begin to beam
Friend: And his plans all work out stitched together like a seem
Friend: uh oh time for spelling game to kick in!
DustOffering: and everything's gravy like peaches and cream
Friend: THen you shout to the Lord praise for bein on his Team!
DustOffering: and all my days will i shout to Elohim!
Friend: ? mmmm ..................all pants have a differnt inseem
DustOffering: and they get rolled up to wade in the stream
Friend: And if you take of the 's' it's as fun as Doug and Jo wim
DustOffering: and every knee will bow when God will so deem
Friend: Oh that God sent his own son for us to redeem!
DustOffering: oh but not to obscene
DustOffering: for it hurts my spleen
Friend: :-)

Friend: lol you're a quick one
Friend: pardon my changin of the pun
DustOffering: but i'm not done
DustOffering: for He has already won
Friend: with the previous fun?
DustOffering: or the future conundrum
DustOffering: i've been caught on the run
Friend: With Jesus God's awesome Son!
Friend: if i'm a hot dog in life i want him to be my bun!
DustOffering: who fed plenty with 2 fish and 5 chunks of bun
DustOffering: lol!
Friend: or vis versa..............oh man!
DustOffering: that was so odd it caused me to stun
Friend: i can scarcely belive, this game i've never done!
DustOffering: we are off like a rocket straight out of a gun
DustOffering: errr.. bullet, rather
Friend: yes twas so captain random my head had spun!
DustOffering: i don't know what to do, they won't let me be a nun
Friend: oh what a little coffee and jesus lovin has begun!
Friend: oh dear sorry to hear that hun
DustOffering: drink a little more, drink a ton
Friend: if you dare tried you might surely be shun
Friend: they gave me a scone when hours were overdone
DustOffering: oh but how no more un words have come to me
DustOffering: i do believe you have won this victory
Friend: i was thinkin the same my brother
Friend: but you have won this other
DustOffering: word to your mother
DustOffering: and to my second grade teachers Mrs. Crothers
Friend: oh wait we can go farther for it only ends with me and i was trying ory
DustOffering: yes you see
Friend: or tory and that....i find with difficulty
DustOffering: you can truly be
Friend: all you can be in the army
DustOffering: and the navy
DustOffering: or kevin at the armory
Friend: see i find that hard and not quite rhyming key
DustOffering: we could go all day and then hug a tree
Friend: but yet this game is wild and quite rule free
Friend: yes i must say a splendid plan, i agree
DustOffering: and stop time to time for a little wee
DustOffering: for how long can one hold in their pee?
Friend: umm perhaps that depends on your body
Friend: some do perform differently
DustOffering: i cannot contain thee
Friend: oh how muchas palabras can spree
DustOffering: so i let it go freely
Friend: oh hush of taht i prithee
Friend: that*
Friend: ;-)
Friend: too much shakeshere lately
DustOffering: quite poetic, wasn't he?
Friend: yes....a preferance of individuality
DustOffering: but you must speak with honesty
Friend: but i dare say i must find mine bed rather promptly
Friend: for i know i have a rather large test early
DustOffering: don't forget to gaze at the sky and see how starry
DustOffering: and even practice a little karate
DustOffering: why not do some laundry?
Friend: lights are a bit to on the spotty
Friend: and you i fear have won this lottery
DustOffering: but covers shall come oh so gently
DustOffering: and spread out all over Emily
Friend: again sometime we must play delightfully!
DustOffering: i will seek that coming moment with severity!
Friend: until then ...and but this weekend...i shall bid thee god bless joyfully!

Friend: this was quite lovely
