The 1980's!! Rocky's Really Wild Years! Ok We left off with Rocky Coming Out at a New Years Party for 1980. He just knew he was doing the right thing. Most of the guy's he was running around with he knew that they were gay too but they had never said anything. Well most of them took it fine. The girls he ran around with did not though. They turned against him. When he went back to school after the Holiday break, they had been telling everyone. So the whole school knew that he was a FAQ!! Now life started to really suck!! How he made through the rest of the year was not going to any school functions and hanging out on the weekends and sometimes during the week at some friends house he had met in the next town. There was always a lot of gay men there so he felt comfortable. He did go to prom but only stayed for a few minutes then headed to the next town for his real date. You he had met this guy on New Years and they had been dating some here and there. So he had made plans to go out with him on Prom night. The guy drove him around while Rocky got drunk. Rocky had discovered booze during this time and liked it a lot!! He had also been seeing someone in the town he was from too. But he was young and was not tied down to anyone so he was just wanting to have fun. Well he was having fun that was for sure. Maybe toooo much. He was running wide open. He would go to his friends house and stay the whole weekend. Even against his parents wishes. They were not happy that their 17 year old son was running with older people that they did not know. He would fight with his parents something awful. He would even sneak out and leave and go away for the whole weekend. Knowing that when he got home all hell would break loose. So to help this out some Rocky started dating this girl that hung around him and his Gay friends. Ok now his parents were really happy. Rocky had a girlfriend and they were talking about getting married once Rocky got out of college. HUH!! Well he was seeing the girl but finally they both realized it was all wrong. Rocky was gay and then she came out!! LOL! Yup she ended up being a lesbian!! So they continued to make Rocky's parents think they were going out so he could come to his friends house on the weekends. Then after getting out of High School Rocky started really running wild. He did not want to go to college. He wanted to just have fun. He had felt so oppresed for years he just wanted to be gay. He dated here and there but nothing serious. Then in 1983 he met Terry. They fell for each other that first night. Terry lived in Nashville, Tn. They spent 3 days together and Terry ask Rocky to move to Nashville with him!!! Well Rocky jumped at that!! A beautiful man of 35 years of age had ask a 20 year old boy to move in with him and be his partner!! When Rocky left home with nothing but a suitcase his father ask him "Son please tell me you are not still "who doing it with men"? Rocky told him no, just one now!! Rocky thought he was in Heaven. Well heaven turned into hell within a year. Rocky and Terry fought like cats and dogs. Terry would cheat on him and Rocky would turn around and do the same to him. It was a never ending cycle. But Rocky nor Terry would end the realtionship. They would go months and things would be fine, then it would all start again. Sometimes these fights turned really nasty and Terry being older and stronger than Rocky, would start hitting Rocky or push him down flights of stairs. Rocky would put up with it too. He just knew he could not live without Terry so no matter what he did to him he would take it like a man. Well they finally broke up in the spring of 1987. Rocky did not handle it well at all.  Rocky had a great job as a manger for Pizza Hut. He was 25 and making more money than he had ever seen. But he lost it all. He turned to X and booze to dull his pain.  He spirled out of control and could not stop. He was sleeping with anyone he could find looking for love for just one night. He did not lose his job but got demoted because he could not handle the drugs and run the store too. He was starting to hit rock bottom. All for this one man. Well in Jan. of 1988 Rocky knew he had to do something. He was down to 100 lbs. and looked like something dead. So for the first time in years he called his parents and ask to come home, but only if they did not ask questions about what was going on with him. They said come on!! So he returned home. He had not seen his family for about a year and they freaked when they saw him. He ask them to please not ask so they didn't. His brother did one day though. He ask Rocky what was wrong, he had heard him crying at night and wanted to know what was going on. Rocky told him the whole story. That was the day their realtionship changed forever. His brother turned on him. To this day they really do not get along well at all. Once Rocky got the drugs out of him he started going out again. He had met this guy in the old town that he use to hang out in before the moved to Nashville. So Rocky decided to move there. He got a job at Pizza Hut again but not as high up as he was in Nashville. He did not want that right now. Well the guy he had moved there for ended up not being his partner instead they became best friends. Closer than Rocky had ever been to any man. They were more like brothers. They got a house together and man did these 2 know how to party. They had some of the biggest parties in town. There would be sometimes over 300 people at them. They tried to have a big party at least once a month. But you could always find people over at their house. Then Rocky met Mike. They started out being friends. Always hanging out at parties together. Mike had a boyfriend so Rocky did nothing about it. Then at a Kentucky Derby party Mike followed Rocky into the bathroom and cornored him and gave him a huge Kiss!! Well that done it! They started dating. Mike met Rocky's parents and they hit it off bigtime. Rocky was like ok I think this is the one. Well within a few weeks they moved intogether. Then on Aug. 5, 1989 they had a ceremony to celebrate their love in front of their friends. Life was good, or was it!!!!!
