The 1990's! These are the good years. Mike and Rocky are very happy through most of these years. They seem to enjoy each others company a lot. Yes they have their trouble but so do all realtionships at sometime or another. They buy a 29 acre farm and start up a home together. They raise Beef Cattle, Goats, and even have a couple of Donkeys. Rocky is living a life he never thought he would lead. He has swore when he was a teenager that he would never ever live on a farm. But life was good right now and in a way he was kinda liking the farm life. Lisa Douglas style of course!!! LOL!! Mike and Rocky had several dogs also. They both just loved animals and would take them in when no one else would. Rocky already had a Yorkie when they met so they got him a sister (Jessica) a mix dog but about the same size as Montgomery. Then later on they got a poodle mix dog name Dylan. One day someone called and had this deaf dog they wanted to find a home for and Rocky said he was willing to do what he could to help.  Well in came Annie. She and Dylan got along great. They were both young and the other 2 were older so they had their little family. They had lots of friends too. Always having parites, cookouts or card parties. Life was great! Yeah Right! Yes things had been great wtih them for several years but then somethng started happening. Rocky had gotten hurt at work in a factory and ended up having to go on Disablity so he could have some surgery done to his spinal cord. So Rocky was at home all the time. At first this was fine with Rocky but in time it was making him weary. During this time off work his best friend David had gotten very sick with Aids and did not have much time left to live. So Mike and Rocky brought him into their home to take care of him in his last weeks. This really meant alot to Rocky getting to do this for him. You see David was Rocky's real love. Mike knew this but also knew that Rocky and David had a love for each other that most people do not and he knew that they had already had their realtionship as partners and it did not work well for them. They were better friends than lovers.  When David passed away something happen to Rocky. He did not realize this until years later but something inside of him died the night David did and he has not been right since. The first year or so after this Rocky started getting moody. He and Mike seem to be fighting more and More. Rocky did not know why. Then about 3 years after David had died Rocky started realizing he wanted out of the realtionship with Mike but could not bring himself to do anything about it. Things were comfortable. He was near his family. Even though his family would always butt into his life trying to tell him what to do. They were still treating him like he was a child and here he was in his late 30's. About this time Rocky started drinking a bit. Not alot but when he did drink he would get really drunk and start thinking of David alot. So Rocky just kept his mouth shut and took his life as it was and went on. He knew Mike loved him and he really did not want to hurt him so he just kept going. But in time it was getting harder and harder to hide how he was feeling. The day was going to come soon when he would have to end this. Then for Chistmas 1998 Mike got Rocky a  Computer for his present.  Rocky had never even turned on one. Well needless to say he became addicted right away!!!!! Rocky found his escape!!!!! He could get on his computer and talk to people from all over the world. Finally someone to talk to about just stuff. You see Mike and Rocky by this time had pretty much stopped talking.  Rocky's drinking then started to improve. He was not drinking nearly as much. He did not need to use it to escape anymore he had his computer. Rocky kept up the face of being in a realtionship but deep down inside he felt like he was dying. Then in the spring of 1999 he met another couple online. Mark and Scotty!! They talked and talked in PlanetOut, and on ICQ. They had agreed to come to Mike and Rocky's Home to meet them. Everyone was nervous about it. Rocky had a small cookout party for them. Well they all hit it off right away. Rocky was like finally another couple we can hang around with. Maybe things will get better now. Rocky was hoping Mike would see how another couple got along and maybe they could get back to where they once were. It seemed to work for awhile. But Rocky was changing inside. He had started wanting more out of the realtionship than Mike could give him. Rocky could see it coming he was going to have to do something soon or he was going to lose his mind. He had started back drinking again and this time it was heavier than ever.  But he was just to scared to do anything.  So he kept going again!
