DuVal High School Class of 1962
Reunion News and Classmate Info Website!

Our website is moving!
Geocities is discontinuing the free websites at the end of October.
We are starting a new contact group on Facebook
for our '62 DuVal classmates and
hope to have it up and running shortly.

Please go to that site to let us know what's going on in your world
and to keep us updated with your contact information.

Welcome!

Another long-lost classmate is found!

Elaine Glosser Allred was found in
March 2009 through Facebook contacts.

Elaine and husband Stan (at left) live in  Youngstown, Ohio, have 3 daughters, eight grandchildren and another grandson
on the way.

So good to see you again, Elaine!

IT MUST BE IN THE BLOOD . . .

Jack (right), grandson of Tom & Grettchen Burton, follows a long family tradition of firefighting service!
Tom's Dad ('Chief') was the Fire Commissioner for Prince George's County, and Chief and charter member of the Landover Hills VFD. He passed away from an on-duty injury and is honored in memorials in Annapolis and PG County!
Tom retired as Station Commander from the Silver Spring Fire Department in Montgomery County.
Tom and Grettchen's son Jeff, Jack's uncle, is also a career firefighter, currently serving as the Station Lieutenant in Seat Pleasant
.
And speaking of being in the blood . . .
Jake (above, right)  thought that the ramp his granddad built for his bike needed more room, so he hooked up to the trailer  to move it out of the way!  Did he hear that
Granddad  owned a moving company for a number of years?
Jake is the 3 year old grandson of Betsy and Jim Heckethorn.

Run into any 'long-lost' classmates lately?
The Reunion Committee and other classmate volunteers have been
looking for those on the 'lost' list (see link, below).  We've found a few people, but
still need help!  Please send an email if you can help
locate any of our classmates.
