Bob Watts has been head wrestling coach for Duxbury High School
since the 1998-1999 season. A former Duxbury High School wrestler,
sectional champion and team captain; Bob has coached the Duxbury
wrestling team through a remarkable turn around over the last
three seasons. He came into the head coach's position with notice
of the school administration's intent to cancel the program,
low participation and few successes in recent seasons. Last
the year the team was 21-1-1, the Pilgrim I Conference Champions,
had several Sectional and State place winners and one placewinner
at the New England Tournament. In recognition of this progress,
Bob was awarded the Coach of the Year honors last year at the
Division II South Sectional Tournament.
Sal Lanuto - Assistant Coach

Sal wrestled in high school for Walt Whitman High School on
Long Island. He was a captain of the wrestling team as a junior
and senior and was a New York State champion in his senior year.
He wrestled for four years on Columbia University's wrestling
team, competed at the nationals as a junior and senior, finished
in the top 8 nationally as a junior, with a 20-1 record as a
senior. Sal was also a team captain during his junior and senior
years at Columbia.
