What is Duxford Saturday Workshop?
The Duxford Saturday Workshop was established in 1972 with the aim of promoting the performing arts to children and adults in the local community. Since its modest beginnings it now boasts a membership of over 300 adults and children. Members are able to participate in a number of ensembles; wind bands, orchestra, jazz band, string orchestra, several recorder bands as well as a 4-part choir, creative drama, music and poetry for children from the age of 5.
