DVDR release is always DVD5 or DVD9 for mVm. We require encoded compressions of DVD9 to DVD5 using DVD Rebuilder + CCE SP and Uncompressed ISO images.
rip each DVD9 using DVDcrypter with UNCOMPRESSED and *.MDS creation option for the entire DVD content. Rip must be done into ISO file.
After rip is done rename *.iso to *.img
encode dvd9 into dvd5 with dvd rebuilder and CCE. set CCE passes to 4 or 5 (complete guide on doom9.net)
File naming conventions:
img, rar, sample vob, sfv, nfo file names should be identical and shorten to first letters of the dvd name followed by -mvm
example: Dj Bobo Live On Stage 1995 : djblos-mvm.img, djblos-mvm.rar, djblos-mvm.vob, djblos-mvm.sfv, sjblos-mvm.nfo
Release Naming conventions:
Capital letter for each word of the DVD name followed by year, VIDEO TYPE, (IF not ENGLISH two letters for Lang), MDVDR-mVm
example: Dj.Bobo.Live.On.Stage.1995.PAL.MDVDR-mVm / Screen.Play.VJ.Club.December.2005.NTSC.DVD9.MDVDR-mVm
DVD9 Sample creation:
a. use smartripper or any other cutting tool to cut 96000 Mb of size
b. then use windowscommander. file->split file
c. type in 100000000 click OK
d. rename ****.001 into ****.vob (give appropriate name)
DVD9 Release packing guidelines:
1. Start WinRar
2. select XXXX.img file and click ADD
3. COMPRESSION MODE: store
4. SPLIT TO VOLUMES, BYTES: 100,000,000 hand type
5. Check PUT RECOVERY RECORD
6. in ADVANCED tab put check in OLD VOLUME NAMES (this will make rar, r01, r02 ....)
DVD5 Sample creation:
a. use smartripper or any other cutting tool to cut 48000 Mb of size
b. then use windowscommander. file->split file
c. type in 50000000 click OK
d. rename ****.001 into ****.vob (give appropriate name)
DVD5 Release packing guidelines:
1. Start WinRar
2. select XXXX.img file and click ADD
3. COMPRESSION MODE: store
4. SPLIT TO VOLUMES, BYTES: 50,000,000 hand type
5. Check PUT RECOVERY RECORD
6. in ADVANCED tab put check in OLD VOLUME NAMES (this will make rar, r01, r02 ....)
Finalizing Release.
make folder on your hd for release ex: Dj.Bobo.Live.On.Stage.1995.COMPLETE.PAL.MDVDR-mVm
inside create folder called Sample and move XXXX.vob in there
use Azza-SFV or any other sfv tool to create XXXX.sfv file that will include only rars!! make sure no XXXX.NFO or Sample folder is there
