| Dwarf Cars are 5/8 scale 1928 to 1948 vintage coupe or sedans and must have been a production car. These cars are capable of speeds in excess of 100 m.p.h. Our racing season runs from March until November each year. We race with an organization called the California Dwarf Car Racing Association (CDCRA) at Ventura, Perris, Santa Maria, Victorville and Barona. We also race four national events each year with the Western States Dwarf Car Association (WSDCA) in Oregon, Nevada, Santa Maria, CA and Marysville, CA. | After racing Dwarf cars for 7 years Steve decided to hang up the driving suit after a spectacular crash at Perris in June 2002. He broke yet another vertibra in his back. 3 for 3. 3 flips 3 breaks. We will miss the excitement and especially all the people that we have met along the way. We wish everyone safe and fun racing. Nothing new going on with us. We're just busy working and hanging out on our property. We still go to the races now and then and Steve has raced a couple times. He did pretty good for a rusty old man. We went to our 40 year (yep 40 years) class reunion in May. What a fun time it was. We met in Las Vegas and had a great turnout. We are planning some mini reunions at Classmates homes in the very near future. It will be great to be able to have more time with each other. |
