Well we just had our 4th birthday and all went well. Time sure does fly by when your having fun. When I think back as to what we have gone through in the last four years I wonder HOW?
We have had numerous visits to the hospital for stitches. Many Many doctor visits for ear infections, colds, shots and the such. Fighting? Well that goes without saying. Four boys, what else is there to do I guess. Now we go to pre-school and it just seems like they grow up too fast. I wouldn't change a thing though. Even when times are crazy I wouldn't change it. I can't imagine what my life would be with out them.
The only tough thing was we just had to have our family pet put to sleep. We have had the Rotty since she was a pup and she was like a family member. She would be 11 this August but time was not on her side. The hardest thing is the boys keep asking when she is coming home from the Doctors and I keep trying to tell them but they don't understand. Sheba had been around their whole life and now she is gone and they don't understand. She is better off now and NO MORE pets in this house. Like I told the vet putting a dog to sleep that you have for so long is like putting one of your children to sleep.
Well the boys fourth birthday party was a CONSTRUCTION theme. They love construction trucks so all the decorations and the cake were construction. The bakery who made the cake took chopped nuts and made a mountain of rocks and took oreo or something like that and make a pile of dirt. There was water on the cake, bushes and grass and construction trucks. It was really cute. They had a blast. Having quadruplets, it was like christmas again. With all the presents that 4 children at once gets they just loved it. They even love opening clothes.
Just wanted to let everyone know we are another year older. Once we get the pictures back we will add another of them from their party. |
