Disney's "Darkwing Duck" Comic Adventures
This is a place for DW comics. More precisely, printed DW media that is copyright Disney and was originally circulated in publications such as "Disney Adventures" and "Marvel Comics." More precisely, a place where humble netgoers such as myself may congregate to oggle them.
Note that I do not and have not had any proprietory or creative part in the material here, nor do I wish to sell or organize the sale of any such material. I'm just someone who loves DW and who loves comics. By the way, I am the one who is known as The Lauderdale. You can contact me at cartoon6@hotmail.com. Or at the forum, of course. See below.

This is the DW comics forum, where you may find updates regarding the site, leave acknowledgement of your existence (much like a Guestbook) or even engage in discussion with others about the material here.
What is this site for? As a rabid DW fan who
A. wasn't the comic book buying type when they were available, and
B. didn't know about them to begin with,
I have missed out in this respect, and don't doubt that others have as well, whether they were like me, just didn't or couldn't spare the cash, are more recent fans of the show, or whatever. I've been thinking for ages that there needs to be a site for DW comics online, and then I thought, hey, why don't I start one? With this view in mind, I have thrown together some material for what I hope will be a useful and entertaining site where people may satisfy themselves with a sufficiency of DW comics.
The selection I provide depends entirely on the resources with which I am provided. As I said, I am not myself rife with DW comics. Quite the opposite! So this site is heavily reliant on the efforts of others. I realize that scanning and sending an entire comic is a time-consuming business. It's not something I want anyone to do if it's too much trouble for them. For those lovely people who would like to help, though, I would very much appreciate it, as long as it follows the following prescription:
Check that the comic you want to submit isn't already here. I would hate to have you go to all that effort if you don't have to.
My goal is to be able to present people with complete DW comics, images and dialogue intact, story, cover and all. If you want to send me a comic, please send me it in complete form, with each page a separate file unto itself.
The dimensions of each page should be as small as they can be made and still have readily comprehensible image and dialogue. Look at the size of the above comic pages for an idea of what I'm looking for, but if you can go smaller and everything on the page is still clear, please do.
Send the entire comic to me at cartoon6@hotmail.com, or, if you want to be particularly daring, you can create a temporary online template at your site if you have one, link each separate page up there, and alert me so that I can go get them.
Provide the name and/or e-mail address and/or site that you would like others to see, because I will want to give you credit for sending me this comic.
Give yourself a big pat on the back! You are providing me and other DW fans with a great service! 8)
As has been stated previously, I have no intent to imply that I had/have any proprietory or creative part in the material here, or that I wish to sell/organize the sale of any such material. DW and the printed media depicting him are copyright Disney. Thank you, and I hope you have enjoyed this site.
