Dragon Warrior Online: Age of Heroes has jumped track and is headed in a new direction of development. AOH was originally started back in late 2000 as an attempt to bring the fun, excitement, and nastalgia of an all time favorite RPG series to the online world by the hands of fans. Once started, development quickly sped along by leaps and bounds and began collecting quite a following. It entered closed beta with 30 testers and we had a blast playing and testing together. Unfortunately, fate had a mood swing and cut a chunk out of the project's steam by the loss of a good amount of code thanks to an attack of serious CRC errors. However, after two years on hiatus, the project is now back under development.

Unfortunately, the project will no longer be cloning the wonderful Enix (now SquareEnix) Dragon Warrior series. I have decided to take the project in an original direction, still inpired by the classic old school console RPG series, but containing many of my own designs and concepts. This will allow me a much broader range of options and choices for future development, as well as avoid any problems with copyright infringment should it go that far.
