Matt removed his counterpart to this site.  The name is now occupied by some jackass.  Just thought I'd mention it.  Also, I updated several sections of the site including
new songs and the misc section.  Under misc I added a list of bands we like.  It's a brief list of bands we're currently listening to.  It's not ment to be comprehensive.

New songs added to the list.  More updates to the download section possible.

Another attempt at redesigning the website resulted in a new menu bar complete with links as well as other minor changes to other pages.
March 16, 2006
Today I 're-created' the Albums page, which was accidently deleted.  Its better now anyway and has cover art for the one record posted.  Also new is the 'misc' page which currently features links to other sites.

Much to my dismay, Matt has decided to create a 'myspace' account to work as a counterpart to this site.  I insisted that there was nothing punk rock about myspace, but he seems to think it has some value even though I know it has none except to discredit us and have us be confused with an emo band or other crap rock / wuss rock / cheese rock etc.  The only advantage is the added web space for different songs.  Anyway, here is the site, Myspace.com/thewg.  Visit if you dare.

February 8, 2006

I've updated the website yet again by adding my solo rendition of "Eddie Vedder" which can be found on the
main page.  I've also created and uploaded a midi file of our newest song, "March of the Gestapo" which can be found on the Midis and Mp3s page.  Recently I've also updated the Band Photos section of the website but it is still very much still under construction.

February 1, 2006

Simple updates to site's layout.  The band recording sessions going extremely poorly as of late in large part due to exhaustion and equipment difficulties.

January 30, 2006

Finished adding new links to the main page.  I also removed the link to "The Sound of Dress Shoes in the Night" and added a link to "Green Stripe."

January 29, 2006

Another song was added today and replaced the somewhat dated, "Sound of Dress Shoes in the Night."  It wasn't a welcome decision, but the new song I'm replacing it with is far better.  The new song is called "Green Stripe" and is a pretty 'rocking' song by all accounts.  Although this one will probably never have lyrics, it is one of the most complicated songs we've written having a number of different parts to it.  Find it on the
main page.

January 28, 2006

I added a new song to the four already on the site, "The Majestic Captain Fitzroy" which is potentially Matt's best song to date and features myself on backing guitar and a really potent lead guitar sound.  As always, it can be found on the
main page.

January 2006

I added a new menu as well as a new page which has a list of all of our songs.  This list also serves as a one stop download source for all Watermelon Gestapo Midi files and mp3s.  I've been making midis for years but only now have them available for download on this site.  There are over a dozen of them so check them out
here.

January 1, 2006

Today I did a major overhaul on the website, taking down much of the original demo (all except 3 tracks) and replaced it with one new track, "If I Were Human, I Would Love You."  Yes, it's another track awaiting lyrics, but they have been writen and we are simply awaiting me to get off my but and record them.  Nevertheless, it's worth a listen.  It can be found on the
main page.

June 26, 2005

The website was heavily remodled.  New features on the site include the "Watermelon Gestapo" logos at the top of the screen as well as a revision to the tracks available on the site, featuring the new song "Poet's Drug."  This is only take 1 so don't expect much.  It is available on the
main page.

December 12, 2003

The website was created on this day.  It was created so that friends, family, and (God willing) fans could access the entire 7 track "Dyjak / Kerrigan Demo" without me having to make a whole CD for them.  Here is the tracklist for the demo.  Some of these songs are still available on the
main page.

1- Surf Song
2- The Day I Realized that Armageddon Was Not Just Some Dumb Movie Starring Bruce Willis (note that this is an alternate version originally available on the demo)
3- The Sound of Dress Shoes in the Night
4- Disinterested Assistance
5- Happy Sunshine Song
6- D-Mixolydian
7- Destruction Jam
